A Philly pretzels and cheesecake factory in Roseburg, Illinois, is opening this week for spring break.
The facility will feature an outdoor patio, a kitchen with ovens and a hot tub for customers to enjoy.
The Roseburg Pretzel and Cheesecake Factory is the first philly pretzone and cheesecakes factory in the U.S. The shop has a full menu of desserts and pretzles that are available for purchase.
“We’re not just opening up, we’re bringing everything back to the original location that it was,” owner and co-owner Alex C. O’Leary said.
The pretzel factory will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and customers can purchase pretzeled pretzls for $1.49 or a cheesecake for $3.99.
The menu will include homemade pretzlas, a chocolate pretzel and a raspberry pretzel.
The plant will be the first in the region to open for spring vacation.
O’dLeary said the factory is located on the corner of Route 66 and East Avenue.
“When we opened it was a small business, we had a couple employees, and we just kept growing.
We started out in the mid-80s with our original production line, and now we’ve expanded to a larger facility,” he said.
He said the pretzeling process takes about three days.
“It’s an old process that has been used for a long time,” he added.
The location has a few bars and restaurants.
The store will be able to serve as a temporary holiday hangout for families, the Roseburg Business Journal reported.
