The water company Guess Factory, a subsidiary of hersheys factory, is building a factory that makes its own water to be sold in markets around the world.
The company has been in business since 2012 and the water will be produced at its factory in South Africa, but Guess has recently ramped up its production to meet demand and the company expects it to reach its full capacity within the next two years.
The water factory is expected to create around 100 jobs and is being run by Guess’s South African subsidiary, Guess Water.
According to its website, Guess produces water to supply around 3.3 million households and about 3,000 businesses, including local businesses and the government of South Africa.
Guess is the world’s third-largest water company after Nestlé and Coca-Cola.
Guess Water is currently building a new plant in South Carolina, and it is expected that it will begin selling water from that plant within the first half of 2020.
