Now, the company is back in the spotlight, this time as the World of Food & Drink, a new event at Tampa International Airport.
Here, we’ll be breaking down the ingredients, process and all the ingredients needed to make your favorite Philly Pretzers and schnitzels at home.
What Is a Philly Pretzer?
As the name suggests, a Philly pretzel is an American made pretzel served in a soft pretzel dough.
This dough is then baked in a hot oven at a very high temperature to create a soft, golden-brown, and crispy surface.
The top layer of dough is cut with a knife to form the dough ball.
The inside of the ball is then brushed with sugar, butter and salt.
A sprinkle of cinnamon is then added to the top layer to add a nice sweetness.
Then, the dough is cooled in the oven for several hours before it is rolled into a soft and chewy crust.
The final step is to wrap the pretzel in a thin layer of foil and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-14 minutes, until golden brown.
The World of Fries will also feature a rotating menu of food items, including sandwiches, salads, desserts and more.

Here are the main ingredients used in making Philly Pretzing:Wheat flour, which is used to make up most of the dough.
It’s important to note that not all of the ingredients used for Philly Pretzed are the same.
The dough that makes up a pretzel should be soft, but it shouldn’t be too dry or hard.
If it’s too soft, it won’t be as flavorful.
There should also be no flour in the bottom layer of the crust.
It’s also important to avoid flour that’s too hard or too dry.
To make a soft dough, the baker places a layer of flour on top of a soft surface.
He then adds a layer or two of water and a little salt to make it softer and easier to roll.
The salt helps the dough hold together as it’s rolled.
After rolling the dough, it’s baked in the hot oven for about 8-10 minutes.
The baker places it in a pan of water with a layer (or two) of flour and the water dries.
The bread will rise again, and when it comes out of the oven, it will be soft and crispy.
The crust will be light and crisp.
The final step of making the dough for the Philadelphia Pretzeling is to cover it with foil.
This layer will then be rolled into soft, chewy dough that is then placed on a baking sheet, wrapped in foil and baked at 400°F for 12 hours.
After the dough has baked for 12 to 14 hours, the top portion is brushed with butter and cinnamon and then sprinkled with sugar.
It will then rise again and when a layer is brushed again, it becomes golden brown and crispy on the outside.
The cheese will then slide out of it.
The last step is for the final layer to be brushed with more sugar, followed by the topping.
The topping is then rubbed in and then placed over the top of the pretzels.
This will allow it to cook for a few more hours.
The toppings will then fall off and the pretzer is ready to serve.
