New York Jets to start season with two new starters

The New York Giants are set to start their 2017 season with three different starting quarterback options for the first time since 2009.

The New York Times reports the Giants are signing Josh Johnson and Kevin Hogan to contracts to be the starting quarterback and running back respectively, with former starting quarterback Jake Locker expected to be traded after the season.

Locker, who missed all of 2017 due to injury, will be replacing a quarterback who played well during the second half of the season and led the NFL in passing touchdowns with five.

He also was one of the best passers in the league in 2016.
