Easton, Pennsylvania, cheesecake maker Ben and Jerry’s has created a new product to take advantage of all the new trends in cake.
“We’re doing it with ice cream, we’re doing with cheesecake, we’ve done with pies and desserts,” said owner Ben and Kristie Puckett.
“The new cheesecake is something new for us, but it’s the same product.”
The company’s new product, which was unveiled in an event last week, is called “The World’s Smallest Cheese,” and it uses frozen cheesecake made from 100 percent real butter to create its ice cream.
It’s a simple and tasty dessert, said Puckets, and it’s made from the frozen cheesecakes that are the heart of cheesecake.
“When you’re doing cheesecake and it is the hardest thing to make, when you’re making a dessert that’s so good and you can’t really make it any other way, then the next best thing is to use frozen cheeses,” said Pucks.

Pucketts, who is also the owner of the Pennsylvania cheesecake shop and the company’s chocolate maker, is a big fan of ice-creams made with vanilla beans.
“I’ve been using vanilla for so long, I can’t remember the last time I’ve made a dessert with vanilla, and then I got the chance to make a cheeseburger out of vanilla,” she said.
“It’s got so much flavor, and I think we’re just gonna go back to vanilla ice cream again. “
